Michael Sweet – Founder and President

Michael is an Entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in Business Development, Strategic Alliances and Technology Consulting Services. For 12 years, Michael owned and managed Emerge Consulting LLC., a premier consulting practice in the traditional publishing industry. Michael has worked with some of the largest and most respected publishers including Hearst, Time Inc. Meredith, Trusted Media Brands, National Geographic and AARP. 

Emerge was acquired by WoodWing B.V. in 2017 

 
 
 

Brian Trombley – Founder and CEO

Brian has more than 35 years’ experience helping clients implement content-oriented processes and technologies for all aspects of publishing across a wide range of industry verticals. An early practitioner of structured content methodologies, Mr. Trombley was at the forefront of the SGML and XML revolutions and has helped clients successfully manage change and leverage content for maximum business value.

Mary Ann Fischer – Training and Documentation Specialist

With decades of experience, Mary Ann develops and delivers education programs tailored for each client’s needs. Mary Ann also creates implementation-specific documentation to provide guides for end users, administrators and IT staff. When new technology is introduced, Mary Ann believes that training and documentation are key to minimize disruption, shorten the learning curve and increase productivity.

Edwin Zeitz - Senior Consultant

Edwin Zeitz, Senior Consultant, has over 35 years of experience in publishing technologies. He is well versed in the architecture, design, and support for Enterprise Content Management Systems providing automated XML based processes for digital and print publishing. Ed’s experience in digital publishing includes roles as Content Architect; Consultant and Developer for XML publishing applications; Director of Software Product Management; and Director of Publishing Production. He is knowledgeable in all major XML and non-XML publishing applications and is an expert technology strategist for enterprise-level content management and delivery implementations. Ed has helped many clients improve their publishing processes, achieving higher content re-use and repurposing and cutting time to market.
